Setup instructions for Outlook Express version 6 using POP to pick up mail.

step1 From the Outlook Express menu, select Tools : Accounts, then Add : Mail. (The name of this menu may vary from one version of Outlook Express to another.) You should see a window purporting to be the Internet Connection Wizard. Type in the name you want to appear on your outgoing mail, and click Next.

Type your SpiderPOP e-mail address into Account name. Enter your password into Password. Click Remember Password if you want Outlook Express to remember your password between sessions. Then click Next.
Click Finish. You now should be able to pick up and read your mail.
To send mail, you need to tell Outlook Express to log into the outgoing mail server. From the Outlook Express menu, select Tools : Accounts, then double-click the account you just made. Click the Servers tab at the top of the account properties window. Make sure that My server requires authentication is checked. Then click OK.
